THE COMMUNITY KITCHEN
The Community Kitchen offers dinner to anyone who needs a free meal or fellowship on Mondays and Thursdays, 4:30-6 p.m. at St. John’s Episcopal Church at 913 2nd Street. There is a bus stop in front of St. John’s. The meals are provided by local churches and one service organization – Kawanis – who plan, prepare, and serve the meals. Volunteer positions include prepping food, serving, set-up and cleaning. If you are interested in helping contact one of the participating churches or organizations, or leave a message at St. John’s, at (360) 568-4622.
